TRACY WOOD
Media: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor,
Pastel
I am currently a student at Azusa Pacific University.
On the weekends, I teach art to children at Mission Renaissance,
and enjoy instructing pastel, watercolor, sketching and
oil painting.
My goal as an artist is to use bright, fun colors to make
people excited to view art, and to enjoy the painting
process myself.
My first commisioned work included dog portraits and still
lifes.
In June 2005
I had an opportunity to donate 5 paintings (Dog Dish &
Bone series) to Artistic License, a fund raising event
hosted by Pasadena
Animal League of the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA.
There was an art auction to benefit homeless and abandoned
animals. I was excited to
learn that the series of 5 paintings was purchased as
a set and helped
raise over $1,250 towards this worthy cause.
