Artist Bio:
Yipee for the
Fine Artists Factory! I am a lifelong artist who is enjoying
the support and comraderie of this place. Come visit us!
Exhibits, models, studios, workshops . . . something is
always going on and always changing.
My art work
feeds my soul and I am hungry for a variety of tastes:
oils, pastels, photo collage, hand-painted photographs,
and watercolors.
The paintings exhibited here are oil paintings from "Intimate
Horizons."
I am working
on "La Luna"in the studio. This is a series
of watercolors featuring feminine faces of the moon in
various stages. My current published work includes children's
books, posters, and postcards. My 7th illustrated children's
book is "The Rainbow and You", now in its 5th
printing with HarperCollins. Posters and postcards of
my animal portraits are published by Universal Designs
in Christian bookstores.
I have a Masters
Degree in Painting from California State University at
Northridge. I have taught part-time at five colleges over
33 years, and exhibited my artwork. For the past 18 years,
I've visited schools all over the United States. I arrive
in costume, draw for an audience, and get kids to help
me on stage so we can show how a book is made. We have
