Bill Vega has been involved with music most of his life
beginning with the study of piano at age 14 and continuing
with countless recording sessions and songs to his credit.
These five CD’s are his latest releases and showcase
his talent as a singer, songwriter, composer, pianist,
arranger, producer and artist.
As a veteran of the Vietnam War, and composer of “Be
All That You Can Be”, Vega as been active in helping
fellow Vets overcome their trauma from the war that divided
our nation.
20th Century Fox is currently developing a screenplay
about the battle of Firebase Ripcord, the last major battle
of the Vietnam War, in which Vega fought, was wounded,
and became permanently disabled. For their actions in
combat, Vega’s artillery battalion 2/319th 101st
Airborne was awarded the Valorous Unit Citation.
“At this time finding the right record and film
company to tell my personal story will be my biggest challenge,
but I know my work will highly benefit the company that
accepts me for who I am and what I have accomplished.”
